WHAT IS BEQUANT?

Founded in 2020 in response to a growing disconnect between the market and the economy, BEQUANT uses behavioral economics to provide a more encompassing perspective of market actors. Since April of 2021, BEQUANT has emphasized a focus on using algorithms to work towards solving issues, rather than simply analyzing them.

Analysis

Traditional economics falls short of providing the complete picture of complex issues. A behavioral economics perspective reveals new flaws and new solutions.

The HERALD Algorithm

HERALD has been running twice a day since late April of 2021. Programmed in response to the rise of market volatility in the wake of the WallStreetBets movement, HERALD quantifies the likelihood of the rise of new meme stocks using AI and behavioral economics. HERALD stands for Hype Early Recognition through Analysis of Language Development.

Not only does the algorithm provide an important public service by identifying the cause of rapidly increasing volatility far sooner than any news media through its live Twitter output, but it also offers an opportunity for high returns. In its testing phase, it demonstrated potential six-week returns of over 580%. Now operating with a capital base, HERALD achieved returns of over 34% in the month of October of 2021 alone.
